Caygeon Cove Resort Policies

Check in Time 4:00 pm.  Check-out Time 10:00 am.  No Refunds for early departures.


COVID Update: 

We have put into place extra cleaning and sanitizing procedures to ensure the safety of our cottage guests.  Please inquire when reserving.


Caygeon Cove Resort and its owners assume no responsibility to any person or persons entering and using the resort and its facilities or surrounding grounds for any loss or injury to their person or property whether loss be through fire, theft, collision or vandalism.


Policies:


All pets must be pre-approved.  Pet fee of $25 per stay.


Deposits are required to secure a reservation.  Daily deposit is $150, weekly deposit is $300 (subject to hst).

We accept Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Cash or E-Transfer.


Cancellation policy - Deposits are refundable less a 25% service charge for cancellations up to 45 days of the reservation OR the full deposit can be put towards another stay within a one year. Cancellations made within 7 days of stay is non-refundable.


Caygeon Cove Resort reserves the right to charge up to, but not limited to $500 for lost or stolen items and damages caused by guest(s) during their stay.



PARK RULES


1. NOISE - Music, campfire discussion or any other noise must not disturb either your neighbors or management. The rights of all campers to enjoy peace and quiet are to be respected. Quiet time is 11:00 pm to 8:00 am


2. VEHICLES - Only 1 car is allowed per site. Additional vehicles are to be parked in the front parking lot. Speed limit is 4 km/hour and is strictly enforced.


3. CHILDREN - Parents are responsible for the care, safety and supervision of their children at all times. Children must abide by the park rules.


4. PETS - Only pets approved by management are allowed. All pets must be leashed or tied. "Poop & Scoop" in effect.


5. CAMPFIRES - Campfires are allowed in existing fire pits only and must be attended to at all times.


6. SWIMMING - The beach is unsupervised. All persons using the beach does so at their own risk. Rules are posted.


7. PROHIBITED

 

  • Firearms, fireworks, electric heaters
  • Holding tank treatments that contain toxic chemicals
  • Walking in the park with alcoholic beverages
  • Taking shortcuts through other campsites

 

8. ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS

 

  • Garbage must be put in plastic bags, tied securely and placed in the garbage container located near the front gate.
  • Recyclables - place plastic, metal, glass and paper waste in the appropriate blue bin near the front gate.
  • No cutting of any trees or branches.
  • Protect the park's septic systems. Do not flush any sanitary napkins, diapers, paper towels, grease or other solids down any toilet or sink in the park.
